Hotspot Chimney Flue Cleaner removes tar/creosote build-up, reducing the risk of chimney fires. It works by rising into the chimney on flue gases and reacting on contact with tar/creosote deposits.
Hotspot Chimney Flue Cleaner should be used on a regular maintenance basis and should reduce the frequency of the chimney needing sweeping. (Regular chimney sweeping is still recommended). It is suitable for use on all wood stoves, open fireplaces and solid fuel equipment and is non-corrosive to stainless steel.
